The Vineyard at Wolf Creek
Our vineyard is a modest 12 acres on a gentle hillside in Wolfcreek, West Virginia. We view ourselves as small-farmers first, and believe that the vineyard is where we do our most important work. We started planting in 1991 and the vineyard is now firmly established with four basic varieties of grapes: Seyval, Vidal, Chambourcin and Foch.
As you can see, our vines are loaded with fruit. These grapes are some of the Seyval French Hybrid.
Shown are our red grapes (Chambourcin or Foch). As you can see their vines are loaded with fruit as well.
We hope you can visit us, take a walk in the vineyard and enjoy this special place!
We have recently planted 7 more acres of grapes giving us a total of 12 acres. We are so excited about our new addition. Of course these new plants will not produce for a while. At the present we have 5 producing acres, which you can see in the background of this photograph.
